We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage to remember your preferences and keep you signed in. This policy explains what cookies and local storage data we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.
2. Cookies We Use

3. Local Storage
We also use browser local storage for the following purposes:
- Authentication session - Keeps you signed in between visits. Cleared on sign-out or session expiry. Strictly necessary.
- Theme preference - Remembers your display preference (light, dark, or system). Persists until cleared.
- UI state - Remembers navigation preferences like selected tabs. Persists until cleared.
- Sign-up source - Remembers how you first arrived at FourFourFive: the page you landed on, the domain of the website that linked to it (for example google.com) and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source). If you create an account, this is saved with it so we can see which pages and channels bring people to FourFourFive. It contains nothing that identifies you. Discarded after 90 days at most.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not use any third-party cookies. There are no analytics tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no social media tracking cookies on our platform.
5. Managing Cookies and Local Storage
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies will only affect the sidebar preference.
Clearing local storage will sign you out, reset your theme preference and remove the sign-up source. Instructions vary by browser - consult your browser's help documentation.
